December 8th

 In class we were told that we would be finishing up the assessment that was started earlier in the week. We had to finish up all 20 questions. The first 12 were about a story and in question 12 we had to finish up the story by writing our own part for it while the rest of the questions were on the amendments and how certain pictures depicted them and in question 20 we had to write out how amendments 1 is related to the first 4 amendments and amendments 4 were related to the other 4

December 7th

 In class the teacher wasn’t here so we got a sub and we were told that if we had any missing assignments for his class that we were able to finish them up during the class period and if you didn’t then you could finish up work for another class that we had. I worked on finishing up work from my 7th period class which were three assignments and was able to finish two and half of one

December 5th

  In class we were told to take out our chromebooks because we would be taking another benchmark test that had about 20 or more questions to it. The first 12 questions would ask about a short story which we had to find out what certain words meant such as faith and what significance it had to the story and the character as wel.

December 1st

 In class we had to sit in a group again in order to read Act 1 Scene 3 of the book Fences. We read in our groups each taking turns to read in the character that we chose to be either rose, Cory, the narrator or Troy. We were also told that we had an assignment due on Monday that was a collage of our ethnicity. This assignment had to have 6 pictures and then a paragraph explaining those pictures in how they show our ethnicity and the symbolism of those pictures to our ethnicity.

November 30th

 In class we were put into groups that we were comfortable with in reading and had to answer 8 questions that were on the book Fences Act 1 Scene then once we were done we had to answer another 4 questions on Act 1 Scene 2. For the last 3 questions we had to read Act 1 Scene 3 as a group and while reading we had to answer questions 13-15. Once we were finished answering all the questions we had to turn it into the teacher.

November 28th

 Today in class we were given the book again to read. Four readers were picked to read as the characters Troy, Rose, Bono, Lyon, and the narrator. While reading the people had to act the way that they think the characters would act. While reading we had to write on a worksheet that we were given which were describing the characters in the way they looked, their character trait, personality, their role and what they do for work. Then we also had to write down three interesting quotes from act 1, two themes and then five key points that were said in act 1. We will turn in the paper Friday since we’ll be getting more worksheets for the other acts in the story 

November 27th

 In class we were told to take out a piece of paper and our chromebooks as well. We were then given a book called Fences by August Wilson. We looked through a slide show as well as answering some questions about if fences physically and metaphorically are important and ways on how they are a bad thing
