 Today in class we had to grab the book and piece of paper in the middle of the table and answer all five questions by the end of class. Since we had started it yesterday some people already had at least three questions answered. The questions would ask how long it took for Gatsby to buy his house and the hint it was built, the significance of a green light, and more questions about Gatsby and his life 

  In class we had to finish up our posters of our character that we got and once we were finished we had to take a pic and upload to blog at the end of class. While in class we would also present our characters telling the class the five character traits we chose for them and on why we did as well as where we were able to get it from in the book

 Today in class we got back into the groups that we started out picture with to finish it up. We all had different parts to do like color the picture, write down the S.T.E.A.L method and then write down the five character traits of the person that we got. Going to the end of class we were told that if we didn’t finish up in class today we’ll have a little bit of time to finish up on Monday but that’ll be the last day for us to work on it 

 Today in class we had to get into a group of 4 people so that we could do an assignment. The assignment was us getting a random character and using the S.T.E.A.L method and then figuring out 5 character traits for the one we got. My group got Myrtle and we were able to finish the S.T.E.A.L method sheet and start our rough draft of the picture and what we’re going to write down on the big paper 

 Today in class we were told in the beginning that we had to read pages 25-31 in chapter 2, then once we were finished reading those pages we had to answers 6 questions and submit it because it’s due tomorrow. We were also told how if we had any assignments marked as missing or with a low grade that we could make it up and submit it to get the grade for that assignment 

 In the beginning of class today we were told to take out our homework which was the five goals that we had written down on both sheets of paper and then we were handed a book. We also had to take out two separate sheets of paper one which we would write out a definition and then the other one would be used to do work and turn in at the end of class. We turned to page 13 of the book and wrote down the definition of a hyperbole and three different ways that the word can be used in. A couple pages later had seven subjects that we had to write two sentences using two different forms of a hyperbole 

 In class we were given a paper that had 6 circles. The middle one would be used to write 2024 goals and then other 5 would be used to write out our 2024 goals that we want to accomplish this year as well as 3 ways that we will be trying to do the goals. Once we finished we had to write them down on a separate sheet of paper of the 5 goals in more depth in how exactly we’ll be doing the things
